Dundalk captain John Mountney suffered an injury against Galway and had to leave the field after 35 minutes. Besides Mountney, players who missed the previous games with injuries should remain sidelined: Scott High, Dara Keane, Robbie Mahon, and Ciaran McGuckin. The football association has given him a ten-game ban after his discriminatory comments towards the referee in the Drogheda game.
