Juventus vs Chelsea preview 

Chelsea will put their focus on the Champions League when they travel to Allianz Stadium to face hosts Juventus. Chelsea are coming from a disappointing 1-0 to Premier League champions Manchester City on Saturday. 

Gabriel Jesus scored the only goal in the second half, handing Chelsea their first-ever defeat of the season so far. 

Meanwhile, Juventus picked their second win of the season in their domestic league after beating Sampdoria 3-2 on Sunday. 

The Blues started their title defense on a positive note as they beat Zenit St Petersburg 1-0 while Juventus thrashed Malmo 3-0.

Paulo Dybala and Alvaro Morata could miss out after picking up knocks over the weekend against Sampdoria. 

Kaio Jorge and Arthur are also sidelined for the Serie A outfit. 

Chelsea Team News 

Reece James and Jorginho were both forced off in the defeat, with the latter the more likely of the two to be passed fit, while Christian Pulisic misses out.

Mason Mount missed the 1-0 loss to Manchester City due to injury and will be assessed ahead of the trip to Turin.

Christian Pulisic is also on the sidelines with an injury, having missed the weekend’s 1-0 loss to City. 

Juventus vs Chelsea prediction

Chelsea’s bright start to the Premier League was ended by City as they lost by a solitary goal while Juventus made it two back-to-back wins. 

Given Juventus’ poor start to the campaign, though, Chelsea should have what it takes to bounce back from Saturday’s disappointment.
