Football Prediction

The biggest tie in the Fourth Round of the FA Cup sees Tottenham Hotspur host Manchester City at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

After a fantastic beginning to the season and the league leader position after ten league rounds, Tottenham had a few struggling matches in November and December. Still, Ange Postecoglou’s team lately returned on the right track and started playing better, so they established themselves as one of the teams that should, at least, fight for the Champions League spot. Tottenham lost only one of the last seven matches in all competitions.

City have struggled in this stadium since its opening. In five visits, across all competitions, they have lost all five and failed to score a single goal and Spurs will be hoping that the streak can continue when they welcome Pep Guardiola and his team.

Tottenham have a long list of unavailable players. Ahead of City game, they will be without Heung-Min Son, Yves Bissouma, Pape Sarr, Dane Scarlett, Ryan Sessegnon, Manor Solomon, James Maddison, Giovani Lo Celso, Ben Davies, and Alejo Veliz. Also, Dejan Kulusevski is questionable due to illness.

Manchester City will be without John Stones, Manuel Akanji, and Erling Haaland, while Ederson is doubtful for the game.

Tottenham XI: Vicario (GK), Romero, Porro, van de Ven, Udogie, Højbjerg, Bentancur, Skipp, Werner, Richarlison, Johnson

Man City XI: Ortega (GK), Walker, Aké, Dias, Gvardiol, Kovačić, Silva, Rodri, Foden, Doku, Álvarez

Under 2.5 goals have been scored in the last six matches between Tottenham and Man City at Tottenham’s stadium but this is a tie that has produced goals from both sides.
