The 2021/22 Champions League season returns this Tuesday with several matches set to be played across different venues.
Clubs will be aiming to make it to the last 16 while others have already secured a place in the knockout stages of this season’s tournament.
Topbets football experts bring you the analyzed Champions League bets as well as England Championship, and League One.
Barcelona vs SL Benfica
Benfica and Barcelona will be fighting for a spot in the last 16 of the Champions League with Group E leaders Bayern Munich having already qualified for the knock-out stages. The Catalans are second with six points while Benfica third with four and a win for the hosts will see them open a five-point lead hence making it to the last 16.
Xavi Hernandez picked his first win as the Barca coach following a 1-0 win over Espanyol on Saturday. Despite losing the first leg with a scoreline of 3-0, a game where Eric Garcia saw a red card, we expect the Spanish giants to revenge.
Dynamo Kyiv vs Bayern München
Bayern Munich has already qualified, winning their first four opening matches. Their trip to Olimpiysky National Sports Complex has no importance but the German machines will be keen to maintain their unbeaten run with yet again another win to make it five.
In the first leg, Julian Nagelsmann’s men run riot, beating Dynamo Kyiv 5-0, and the return leg is expected to have a similar result against a side that is winless so far.
Malmö FF vs Zenit St. Petersburg
Zenit St. Petersburg has registered only a single victory in their first four matches of the group stage while Malmo has lost all. The hosts remain rooted at the bottom of Group H with zero points.
In the first leg, Zenit registered a 4-0 victory over ten-man Malmo FF after Anel Ahmedhodžić was sent off for professional handball. The visitors will be keen to at least secure a spot in the Europa League with the first two positions likely to go to Chelsea and Juventus.
Lille OSC vs Red Bull Salzburg
Group G remains the tightest so far, with RB Salzburg on top with seven points. Lille are second with five same as Wolfsburg who have inferior goal difference.
Sevilla is rooted at the bottom with just three points.
Well, Salzburg managed to beat Lille 2-1 in the first leg and the hosts now will be keen to revenge and go above the visiting side.
We expect this to be a tight game and is likely to end with a high score.
