The English Premier League is set to resume on Saturday after paving way for the international break. Eight matches have been scheduled to be played across different venues with Arsenal paying a visit to Liverpool being one of the biggest encounters.
Liverpool vs Arsenal
Anfield clash pitting hosts Liverpool and Arsenal is one of the most anticipated clashes in the Premier League this weekend. The two sides are separated by just two points on the log, with Liverpool sitting fourth on the log having garnered 22 points while the Gunners are fifth with 20.
Liverpool have tasted a defeat just once this season while Mikel Arteta’s men have lost three games which came back to back at the start of the season. Encounters between the two always end up with a high scoring with the most recent clash with a 3-0 scoreline in favor of the Reds.
Watford vs Manchester United
Manchester United will travel to Vicarage Road to take on struggling Watford this weekend. United will be keen to bounce back following a 2-0 loss to Manchester City just before the international break.
Meanwhile, Watford suffered their second consecutive defeat to Arsenal following a 1-0 loss at the Emirates Stadium.
In the last eight meetings between the two teams, United has beaten Watford seven times while losing only once.
