Birmingham v West Bromwich

Birmingham’s form has taken a turn for the worse ahead of Friday’s West Midlands derby clash against West Brom.

The Blues were scoring goals in August, but a return of just two strikes in that five-game winless sequence means confidence has been lowered and their defending has come under more pressure and things are made worse as they will be up against an Albion side who arrive on Friday on the back of a four-game undefeated run on the road.

They demolished previously unbeaten Preston 4-0 at Deepdale last weekend with a stunning display of clinical, counter-attacking football and should exploit any spaces behind Birmingham’s backline but derbies can go either way.

Tip>Over 1.5 Goals

Charleroi v RWD Molenbeek

The Belgian Pro League will also have a game on Friday with Charleroi hosting RWD Molenbeek; the latter currently in the top ten of the table with the former being just four points off the bottom.

Charleroi have an average of 46.67% of the games with over 2.5 goals and 53.33% of the games with under 2.5 goals in the last 15 games. The team has only scored 6 goals in the last 5 games and comes against a side who have been struggled for goals too.

Molenbeek have an average of 60% of the games with over 2.5 goals and 40% of the games with under 2.5 goals in the last 15 games but have struggled recently with just 6 goals in the last 5 games.

Tip>Bet on a Draw

Palmeiras v Boca Juniors

Boca Juniors can become the first non-Brazilian side to reach the final of the Copa Libertadores since River Plate in 2019 with a victory on Thursday at Allianz Parque versus Palmeiras. The opening leg of this semi-final tie in Buenos Aires finished 0-0 as both sides remained unbeaten in the knockout portion of this competition.

Palestra are used to these pressure situations and have often found a way through, and the in-form shot-stopping ability of Weverton could make the difference in this tie where these two sides have been relatively even.
