West Ham vs. Aston Villa Head to Head

The last encounter between these teams was in July 2020 whereby the match ended a disappointing 1-1 draw at Hummers home soil.

It took Aston Villa a while to beat West ham, the last time was back in 2015 the match that ended 1-0.

West Ham Team News

Sebastian Haller is likely to deputize Michail Antonio in his spot, despite him being available from hamstring injury. Hammers’ boss David Moyes claims not to rush him back.

Yarmolenko is likely to be out for  match fitness issues.

Aston Villa Team News

Villa will miss the services of Ross Barkley, who has been playing impressively on loan from Chelsea, after he was injured last weekend. Also adding to the list Wesley has knee injury, Engels nursing hamstring and Guilbert having chest problems all sidelined. Traoré is doubtful he had a knock.

West Ham vs. Aston Villa Prediction

West Ham had tough fixtures in like one and half month, where they played four teams out of the top six, Hammers strived and got away with 1-0 victories over Fulham and Sheffield United in that order.

Aston Villa have performed poorly in recent times despite their impressive start, losing three out of their last five games, most recently a 2-1 loss to Brighton last week.

On that note, Villa continues to pull out surprises, beating Arsenal 3-0 prior to their Brighton loss.

However, with two consecutive wins behind them, and just one defeat at home this season, West Ham may just bag the three points at home.
