Betting Tips
There is a lot of heat in the Premier League run-in and Sunday will offer five games on show where relegation and the title race are at stake.
While Manchester City will be travelling to Craven Cottage to take on Fulham as they seek to put pressure on Arsenal, AFC Bournemouth will be hosting Leeds United at the bottom end of the table as both teams fight for survival.
A top-four position is at stake too with Liverpool hosting Tottenham with the hope that they can close the gap between them and fourth-placed Manchester United who threw a two-goal lead on Thursday against Spurs to blow the top-four race wide open.
Liverpool v Tottenham Hotspur
Liverpool has had a disappointing season but they have a chance to be part of Europe next season if they can win their remaining six games starting with a victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
Scrapping for a Champions League slot in the final few weeks wasn’t how most Reds fans envisaged this campaign playing out after coming so close to an unprecedented Quadruple last season. Despite the problems, the Jurgen Klopp side has still shown some signs of their old magic this season, smashing seven goals past Rangers and Manchester United after battering Bournemouth 9-0 at Anfield. The Reds are hitting form at the right time having won their last three games in the Premier League.
Visiting Tottenham fought back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Manchester United on Thursday night, as Pedro Porro and Son Heung-min cancelled out Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford’s efforts. Ryan Mason’s side has entrenched themselves in the fifth spot in the table ahead of Sunday’s game, but they remain six points behind Man United having played two games more, and they will be leapfrogged by Liverpool should the Reds come up trumps at Anfield.
Verdict
It’s hard to see where Spurs will beat the Reds owing to the form of both teams. Jurgen Klopp has sensed that they can still qualify for European football and beating Spurs will ensure that this dream is put on track. They might be further behind Manchester United but following the Reds dwindling form in the league, the race is still on for the top four.

AFC Bournemouth v Leeds United
There are many of the teams around the bottom six clash facing each other this weekend and this will be one of them. Leeds United have looked doomed based on their recent displays, as they have been conceding goals at an alarming rate but tried to stop the rot against Leicester City in midweek. The draw means that Leeds sits just a point above the bottom three places, and they have won just once across their last six in what was Dean Smith’s first win in charge of the team.
AFC Bournemouth’s survival chances were boosted on Thursday following their 1-0 win over Southampton. That advantage could be widened if they are able to collect maximum points in this game and it is a chance to plunge one of their rivals further down the table.
Verdict
A win for Bournemouth will see them come close to the 40-point mark which is always considered the safest mark in the Premier League. With their vociferous home fans, they know that this is an opportunity to bury their opponents forever. Leeds on the other end needs to wake up as they might themselves in the relegation zone on the next match day if Leicester City, Everton and Nottingham Forest can win their games; the former two are set to face each other at Goodison Park on Monday.
Tip: Win for AFC Bournemouth and Over 2.5 Goals
