The 29th 2020/21 Premier League top flight season is here with us, one of the most anticipated leagues in Europe and of course, for the bettors, they have something to smile about. 

Initially, the season was scheduled to start on 8th August 2020 but the outbreak of coronavirus messed up the fixtures and it was pushed to 12th September. This season is expected to have a congestion of fixtures as they aim to conclude it next year in May. 

The first Premier League encounter will be between north London rivals Arsenal and Fulham, who are set to face each other at the Craven Cottage.

Fulham have the chance to shock football fans this weekend, when they host Arsenal in their first Premier League game after earning the promotion to the top flight through play-offs. The Gunners finished eighth on the log last season and ended their campaign on a high note, winning the FA Cup, which was followed by a victory over Liverpool in the Community Shield.

Arsenal have not lost a single match to Fulham in their last six matches, and the best the Cottagers have achieved against the Gunners is a 3-3 draw way back in 2012. 

We back Arsenal to beat Fulham this week due to the quality Mikel Arteta’s men have compared to the hosts.

Goals Over 2.5/ Both teams to score 

The most recent encounters between the two teams have seen Arsenal register a 4-1 and 5-1 victory. Well, this weekend’s match could have a similar outcome with the Gunners having a very good attack that can cause trouble. 

Betway has odds of 1.74 while 22bet is giving 1.75 odds for the match to produce more than two goals. Both teams to score also remains a possibility and betway has 1.84 while 22bet is giving 1.80 odds for the GG option. 

Anytime goal-scorer – Aubameyang

Arsenal have good forwards with the likes of Nicholas Pepe, Bukayo Saka, Eddie Nketiah, Willian and Lacazette standing a chance to grab a goal given a chance to start. Fulham too have Mitrovic and Cavaleiro upfront but we can’t see the pair causing much trouble in front of the goal. 

All eyes will be on the club’s captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who was in fine form during the FA Cup semis and finals as well as the Community Shield, scoring two goals in each of the last three games. 

Betway is giving Aubameyang odds of 1.72 while 22bet is backing the former Borussia Dortmund forward to score anytime at 1.66.
